Fun, great graphics, pay to win

The Good: Pirates TD is fun! It has great sounds and great graphics. Hilarious easter eggs tucked here and there.

The Meh: Game play and mechanics dont add much new to the genre.

The Ugly: True to its free to play form be ready to drop some dough to complete all parts of the game ( I recommend that you buy the double toes if you are going that route) or grind an insufferable amount of time to earn toes for boosts.I get that that is the business model these days but I wonder how much game design attempts to manipulate the player with frustration into spending money.
